Book Launch Reflections: A Day I'll Never Forget

I don't think there are enough words to truly describe what book launch day felt like.

It was exciting, overwhelming, surreal, emotional... and if I'm being completely honest, I didn't expect to cry anywhere near as much as I did.

Seeing people walk through the doors to support me was something I'll never forget. This book started as words on a page during some of the hardest moments of my life, and to stand in front of a room full of people and share that journey was both terrifying and incredibly humbling.

As I spoke, I looked around the room and could see people becoming emotional too. My hope is that those tears weren't because of my story alone, but because they recognised parts of their own. If I Love You, But Fu*K Off reminds even one person that they're not alone in the chaos, guilt, love, exhaustion and laughter that comes with motherhood, then every late night, every self-doubt and every obstacle was worth it.

The day itself was beautifully chaotic. There were books to sign, hugs to give, conversations to have and so many wonderful people to thank. It all flew by in what felt like a heartbeat.

To everyone who came along, bought a book, shared a kind word, or simply believed in me long before I believed in myself—thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

Book launch day is a memory I'll carry with me forever. It marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.

With love,

Katie
